First dates can be a nerve-racking experience, from planning where, when and for how long. Those choices could make or break any future decisions for either a second date or pursuing a relationship further. He says Sudbury has a lot of great places to visit or activities to do throughout the city and he wanted others to experience those.

He came up with a list of the "Top 5" first date options in Sudbury, and published them on a blog. Ritchie suggests when planning a first date to consider common interests of the two parties. Pick activities or places that both might enjoy. For example, if you are a foodie then plan a first date at a restaurant.

This is 45 minute drive from downtown Sudbury and then it's a two kilometre walk along the trail. Ritchie calls this a beautiful spot with tons of trails to walk along both in the summer and in the winter.

These are Ritchie's picks for the two best coffee shops in Sudbury. Salute is a newcomer in the South End, while Old Rock has two locations downtown. Both stops give you a nice place to sit, chat, and enjoy the cool ambience.
