Many school districts are still finalizing policies and plans for the upcoming academic year around COVID If your school is currently not listed in the registration it does not necessarily mean they are not having GOTR this Fall.
We may be waiting for confirmation from the school. Thank you for you for your patience!! For more information or questions please contact Allison Sinning at Girls on the Run strives to help every girl activate her limitless potential and ensure that she is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity-based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-5th grades.
We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K run. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. MISSION: We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. VISION: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
Girls on the Run is currently comprised of over councils across the United States and Canada. We want girls to have the opportunity to participate in Girls on the Run wherever they live. If you are interested in bringing Girls on the Run to your school or community, please contact the Council Director, Allison Sinning at asinning embe. You can help make this possible by becoming a GOTR Coach and making an investment in the life of a girl! Each team consists of 6 to 15 girls that meet afterschool around or pm. The GOTR team meets twice a week throughout the season. Each team will have 4 — 6 coaches to lead the girls with a minimum of two coaches at each practice. Coaches lead the team through a comprehensive, interactive fun curriculum. All materials are provided. Contact Allison at asinning embe.
Each season comes to an end with a joyful and fun non-competitive 5K.
